Participation in ASME Turbo Expo 2021 between 07.06.2021 to 11.06.2021.
The second completely virtual ASME Turbo Expo
The ASME Turbo Expo is the world's largest conference in the turbomachinery industry, and this year's event was the second to be held entirely virtually. A total of about 700 authors participated.
The IKDG was represented this time with 3 scientific studies. Nils Petersen presented his results on "Exhaust gas recirculation for hydrogen-fired gas turbines". Thomas Bexten presented further results on the topic "Analysis of a local hydrogen supply for H2-fired gas turbines". The IKDG studies have been completed by Daniel Hermann with his investigations in the field of "Optimization of a centrifugal compressor geometry".
The IKDG would also like to thank the students who contributed to the presented studies through theses or as student assistants.
Next year, the ASME Turbo Expo will be held in Rottterdam, this time in a hybrid format. Preparations for the paper are in full swing.
A current list of all publications of the institute can be found on our homepage.
