The series of laboritories is a joint lecture of the institutes EBC, IKDG, LTT und WSA under the leadership of EBC. The students get to know a variety of applications of alternative supply of energy during exciting on-site visits or hands-on laboratories. Within the lecture, the IKDG is resposible for the visit of an wind energy converter and the operation of a micro gas turbine. Other topics covered are for example torrefication reactors, solar cooling, the analysis of heat pump systems, the study of phase change materials and the examination of a solar thermal system.
