Responsibilities

 

From 2013 – 2017, I have been studying mechanical engineering with a specialization in energy technology at RWTH Aachen University. My bachelor thesis at the IKDG entitled theoretical analysis of flow and heat transfer phenomena in rotor-stator cavities based on an existing test rig concept was awarded by the Förderverein.

From the end of 2017 – 2019, I have been studying mechanical engineering in the master's program at RWTH Aachen University. After a semester abroad in 2018 at NTNU Trondheim, I worked as a student assistant at the RotKa test rig. I finished my studies with my master thesis at iMSE in the field of model-based systems engineering (MBSE).

Since April 2020, I am working as a research associate in the Experiment group at IKDG. For IKDG I am in charge of the project OptiSysKom . Moreover, I am responsible for the setup and commissioning of the axial turbine test rig MONA . As part of OptiSysKom , I will perform aerodynamic investigations of flow fields and blade vibration of additively manufactured turbine blades.
