1998: Collaborative Research Centre 561
The Collaborative Research Centre 561 (SFB 561: Thermally Highly Loaded, Porous and Cooled Multi Layer Systems for Combined Cycle Power Plants) has the aim to supply the technical and scientific basis for future combined power plants with a total efficiency of 65% from the year 2025 onwards. Increasing process parameters and the resulting highest thermomechanical loads are focus of the research.
