1970: Collaborative Research Centre 163
From 1970 on the DFG Collaborative Research Centre 163 (SFB163) "use of process heat from high temperature reactors" promotes the research and development of operation of gas turbines with a closed high temperature helium cycle in high temperature reactors. Over a decade, until 1985, this particular DFG project receives funding.
