IKDG and Imperial College London awarded with the Donald Julius Groen Prize 2021

As part of the 14th International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging (May 11 - 12, 2021), the Donald Julius Groen Prize 2021 for the best publication presented during the conference was awarded to Dr Piotr Łuczyński (IKDG), Dr Karl Hohenberg (Imperial College London), Carola Freytag (Imperial College London), Prof. Ricardo Martinez-Botas (Imperial College London) and Prof. Manfred Wirsum (IKDG).Building on the success of an established series of successful conferences regularly held since 1978 under the patronage of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the world-leading International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging responds to current and novel turbocharging system choices and components with a renewed emphasis on addressing the challenges posed by emission regulations and market trends.Based on the contributions to the conference proceedings, the Committee of the Conference select the paper, which scored the highest review score. In 2021 it was the Integrated design optimisation and engine matching of a turbocharger radial turbine written by the joint research team from IKDG and Imperial College London.
